Interior Designer and Owner of Full Spectrum Design Firm, and Part Owner of The Treasure Chest Resale & Design Center

She attended the School of Human Environmental Sciences at East Carolina University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design with a split concentration in Art and Industrial Design in 1995. Since graduation, she has worked in both the commercial and residential design fields ranging from office space planning and design, electrical design and drafting, retail showroom setup and merchandising, nightclub design and as head designer for a large flooring company.

In 2006 she opened Full Spectrum Design Firm; a full service design boutique focused on practical design solutions with uncompromised visual appeal.  She expanded her list of services to include home staging, small and large scale event planning, production management, and business marketing and identity design. 

In 2007, Mary Anne and three colleagues opened ACE: Associates for Commercial Excellence, LLC, a business building company that served Southeastern North Carolina.  ACE provided an array of services such as business analysis, management, strategic planning, marketing, sales and many other business focused support services for entrepreneurs, business owners and non-profit organizations who wanted to take a 360 degree approach to building a strong, viable business.

Currently she is part owner of The Treasure Chest Resale & Design Center, a retail store that focuses on the resale of antiques, primitives, shabby chic, hand-painted and custom furnishings.   The Treasure Chest is also home to Full Spectrum Design Firm. 

Along with her design background she has 8 years management experience for a top 3 major Retailer in the U.S. During that time she won several awards and accolades, initiated educational and training programs and was titled a merchandising visual expert. In 2005 she obtained her N.C. Real Estate License and in 2006 upgraded her license to Broker status. She was an Executive Director for The Frank Harr Foundation, a non-profit organization that seeks to educate the public on diversity issues. She was a Director for the Association for Business and Economic Development, a North Carolina non-profit organization formed to assist communities with grassroots economic development. She is currently the organizer for a musical fundraising effort called MARCAROO, named after her late brother, that raises money for cancer research and cancer related issues. She is a singer/songwriter and was a previous member of a traveling vocal trio.  Mary Anne hails from south Brunswick County, NC and prides herself on her southern upbringing and culture.
